3 tips before you choose your engraving
- Keep it short. One line of 3–6 words reads best. Add a second line for a name or a date.
- Write it the way you would say it. “Proud of you, son” means more than a famous quote.

What should I engrave on a pen?
A short personal message, a name and a date work best. Think of what you would say if you handed over the gift in person — “Proud of you”, “Thank you for 30 years”, or simply a name and a year.
How long can an engraving be?
Short messages look best: one main line of 3–6 words, plus an optional second line with a name or date.
Can I write the engraving in my own language?
Yes. We engrave in English, German, Slovenian and other languages using the Latin alphabet, including special characters like č, š, ž, ä, ö and ü.
Is the pen itself engraved?
No — we engrave the walnut gift box, so the natural pattern of the handmade pen stays untouched.
