About PipejaWood – A Family Story Turned into Handcrafted Art

Our Story – The Heart Behind PipejaWood

Every PipejaWood creation begins with something deeper than wood or resin.

It begins with family, craftsmanship, and a lifelong love for working with natural materials.

My name is Boštjan Tement, and together with my wife Petra, we run PipejaWood — a family workshop in Slovenia where we handcraft unique wooden art pieces from solid wood and epoxy resin.

What we create is more than products.

It is our story.

A Passion for Wood That Started Over 30 Years Ago

My journey with wood began more than three decades ago.

As a child, I worked side by side with my father, crafting furniture from solid wood. Those early years taught me patience, precision, and deep respect for natural materials.

Life later brought studies, work, and raising our children.

But as our kids grew older and time returned, the passion for craftsmanship returned stronger than ever.

Six years ago, Petra and I began creating handmade pieces together — blending traditional woodworking with modern epoxy resin techniques.

What started as a hobby quickly became PipejaWood.

The Meaning Behind the Name PipejaWood

Our brand carries our family inside its name.

PI — our daughter Pia

PE — Petra

JA — our son Jan

Together they form Pipeja — a symbol of love and unity behind everything we create.

The word Wood represents me — my hands, my craftsmanship, and decades of experience working with natural materials.

PipejaWood is not just a name.

It is our family carved into every piece.

Where Craft Meets Artistic Vision

Petra has an incredible eye for shape, elegance, and balance.

She brings artistic sensitivity into every creation — from bowls and pens to serving boards, jewelry, earrings, and necklaces.

I focus on technical execution, precision turning, resin casting, and perfecting every structural detail.

From Wood to Art – Handcrafted One by One

About six years ago, we began creating unique pieces from solid wood and epoxy resin.

No molds.

No mass production.

Just raw materials shaped by hand.

Each product is turned on the lathe, carefully refined, and finished to preserve the natural beauty of the wood while ensuring durability and functionality.

Among our creations are bowls, decorative pieces, serving boards — and one of our most loved collections: Luxury Handmade Fountain Pens, where natural wood meets artistic epoxy resin in elegant, functional writing instruments.

Every pen is truly one of a kind, with its own grain patterns, color flow, and character.

Together, we combine:

• Artistic vision

• Technical mastery

• Traditional craftsmanship

• Family values

That harmony defines PipejaWood.

Every Creation Has a Story

We believe handmade work should be transparent and personal.

That’s why we film every creation process and share it on our YouTube channel Pipejawood Woodturning.

Each product receives its own story — from raw wood to finished art — so every customer can see exactly how their piece was made.

One of a Kind – Always

We never mass-produce.

No molds.

No factory lines.

No repetition.

Each piece is shaped by hand and exists only once.

Natural grain patterns, resin flows, and handcrafted details ensure every creation is truly unique.

Why We Create

We create to preserve craftsmanship.

We create to tell stories.

We create to connect people with natural beauty.

Some pieces celebrate life.

Some pieces hold memories.

But every piece is made with heart.
